Manuel Ortlechner is about to make a comeback at Austria – as the new sports director.
The upheaval at Austria is in full swing. As is well known, Markus Kraetschmer is going to the board of the AG, Manuel Ortlechner, former captain of the violets, should move up for him. The former defensive player should not become a sports director, but take on the classic role of sports director. The reports “90M Minuten.at” and relies on inside information.
Ortlechner had already confirmed that there are ongoing negotiations on “Sky”: “If I couldn’t imagine it, there would have been no talks. We’re talking about Austria, so it is conceivable.” Postscript of the TV expert: “If it doesn’t work, it would be a shame, but life would go on. Then I would fly through Europe with Sky in the autumn, worse could happen.”
The question still remains to be clarified who will succeed Peter Stöger as coach at the Veilchen. Markus Schopp is probably in pole position here.
