Now there is a big chill between Milan and Raiola: how market dynamics can change | First page

Sun, blue skies and sharply rising temperatures: summer, at the dawn of June, has finally arrived. In via Aldo Rossi, however, the great chill has fallen, the one that flows between Milan and Mino Raiola, protagonists of the Donnarumma saga. The soap opera, culminating in thegoodbye thanks signed by Maldini and Massara, it is destined to leave aftermath. Impossible to think otherwise after the clear split between the management and the Italian-Dutch prosecutor, whose crazy requests were not satisfied. Indeed, they were soon forgotten, turning the spotlight on Mike Maignan, the new owner of the Rossoneri goal.

INTERRUPTED SPEECHES – The tug-of-war, made up of requests, offers, rises and tension, brings with it consequences and new strategies. Inevitably, the delicate balance that reigned between Milan and Raiola was marked, in a professional relationship that has been active for years on multiple axes. According to what has been learned, the management does not intend, at least in this session, to deepen or continue contacts and discussions with the agent. Who, in addition to Donnarumma, counts other Rossoneri among his clients. If Ibrahimovic deserves a separate chapter, thanks to his age and above all an already signed renewal, a different discourse deserves instead Alessio Romagnoli. The captain, due to expire in 2022, may leave Milanello in the coming weeks: Pioli does not consider him a starter, and the mere presence from 1 ‘in the last 8 of the championship certifies him. The club is also currently focused on Tomori’s rich ransom, set at 28 million. This is why to date there is no proposal for renewal, especially the figures – an increase compared to the current 3.5 million – demanded by Raiola himself.

THE MARKET THAT WILL COME – But the stalemate between the parties is also reflected in the market to come. Starting from that Rodrigo De Paul that many fans dream of as after Calhanoglu: the Argentine, barring surprises, will leave Udine. Milan thinks about it, but has to deal with Mino Raiola again. Because if on the one hand it is true that the midfielder is linked to Augustin Jimenez, his agent, it is equally true that the first hypotheses of negotiations had seen Raiola in the role of intermediary. Among the direct clients of the Italian-Dutch, however, we find Donyell Malen of the PSV and Myron Boadu of Az, young strikers pinned on Maldini’s notebook as alternatives to Giroud, Vlahovic and Belotti. But also Federico Bernardeschi, probed by Milan in a possible exchange with Romagnoli. Frozen ideas and projects, blocked by the cold that fell on via Aldo Rossi after the soap opera Donnarumma.
