On the 8th day of the 73rd Prefectural High School Comprehensive Athletic Meet, 20 competitions were held in the prefecture, and Morioka Shirayuri Gakuen marked a new competition with 3477 points, winning the 5th consecutive championship. For boys, Morioka Kou won the tournament for the third time in a row.
Men’s Numakunai won 11 consecutive tournaments, women’s non-arrivals won 3 consecutive tournaments, and Naginata match group won 5 consecutive tournaments. The fencing group was won by Ichinoseki Daini for both men and women, with men winning seven consecutive titles and women winning two consecutive titles. In the sumo group, Hiradate has won eight consecutive titles. Morioka Kou won the men’s wrestling group for the second time in a row.
In the gymnastics group, the boys went to Senshudaigakukita and the girls went to Morioka Kita for three consecutive tournaments. Yurina Oda (3rd year), a girl, won the canoe in which only the non-visitors participated in the third event such as the kayak single. Yudai Fujiwara (same) won the men’s Canadian single.
On the 30th of the 9th day, 13 sports such as basketball will be held.
