More athletes qualify for Conade 2021 National Games join


The state selectives for chess, archery, indoor and beach volleyball were formed.

Three chess players, a goalkeeper, an indoor volleyball team and two beach volleyball players obtained their tickets to represent the entity in the next Conade 2021 National Games.

In the so-called sports-science, the jiutepequenses Diego Salgado Ramos (in the category 15-16 years); Yotzzabel Montiel González and Jorge Héctor Pineda (in the 12-14 year old category) obtained their pass to the national team as they were one of the best exponents of the Virtual Regional Zone VI, where chess players from Mexico City, Guerrero, Tlaxcala and the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN).

It should be noted that the president of the Morelos Chess Association, Rubén Canales, confirmed that the performance of the state team in the fair formerly known as the National Olympiad will be from July 27 to August 1 at the Los Pinos Cultural Complex, in the City of Mexico.

In the discipline of Archery, the entity will be represented by the so-called “Robin Hood Morelense”, Máximo Méndez, in the category 16-17 years of compound mode, in which he obtained the best mark in the national classification ranking, as he scored 697 720 points available, being the goalkeeper with the best chances of getting on the podium of the Conade Nationals.

Máximo Méndez, together with his father and coach, Lot Froy, will travel to Monterrey, Nuevo León, from July 1 to 8 to face the best 19 classified goalkeepers in the country, who are the representatives of Yucatán, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, State of Mexico, Aguascalientes, Jalisco, Baja California, Coahuila, Tampico and the host entity.

While in the State Indoor Volleyball Championship, in the 2004-2005 category, which was held in the Centennial Sports Unit, the women’s team “Mías de Puente de Ixtla” stood out against the Cricket and Damm clubs of Cuernavaca, as well as Danesas de Jantetelco, to establish itself as the squad that will compete in Jalisco, from June 12 to 16.

The Puente de Ixtla team is made up of: Diana Vital, Mariam Sandoval, Karla Monroy, Jannifer Ramírez, Keiry Bautista, Lizbeth Díaz, Jatziri Rivera, Jessi Torres, Valeria Acosta and Karla Islas; all of them commanded by the Ixtleca teacher Violeta Juárez Salazar.

Finally, the state beach volleyball was held in Tezoyuca and those who obtained their ticket to Colima to wear the Morelos shirt, from June 18 to 22, were the members of the Damm Club, Ximena Gutiérrez and Daniela González, in the 2004-2005 category , in addition to Paola Gutiérrez and Karla Lagunas in 2000-2001; all four are directed by professors Alejandro Escalona and Miguel Rincón.
