Saúl Monreal Ávila, candidate for the municipal presidency of Fresnillo by the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) participated in the reopening of the “Deportivo 06” basketball court as well as the start of the tournament of the same name in which 13 teams participate in two categories different.
During his participation, Monreal Ávila endorsed his will to, once he returns to the municipal presidency, execute public policies for the benefit of young people by promoting sports and healthy activities, since in Fresnillo great sports players have historically been forged burst.
He also explained that he will work to expand sports education in the municipality and get young people interested in physical activities “I know that due to the pandemic and electronic devices our children and young people prefer to stay at home, however we will put great interest in sports infrastructure to provide them with more dignified spaces and adopt these disciplines ”, he specified.
Monreal Ávila thanked Samuel del Muro Palafox and his family for facilitating the space called “Deportivo 06” in which the tournament began with the match between the Cuervos de Fresnillo and the Gansos de Tlaltenango.
For his part, David Román, thanked the candidate for his presence and his attention to sport during his government. In the same way, he mentioned that the court was rehabilitated so that basketball players have decent and quality spaces to improve their sports experience.
