Marc Marquez failed to complete the race on MotoGP Italy 2021 and embarrassed by the incident which saw the former world champion fail to add time after humerus injury.
Marquez became the second racer, after Enea Bastianini, who suffered an accident at the Italian MotoGP 2021. After completing the first lap, Marquez fell in the third corner.
The Repsol Honda racer admitted he was wrong when he bumped into Brad Binder before falling.
“Unfortunately the race finished faster. This is certainly a shame because I need to devour more travel time. It’s true that there is contact with Brad Binder,” said Marquez quoted from Speedweek.
“Incidents like that happen a lot. I think you can talk about a normal racing accident. I saw Brad in the second corner, I thought he would go fast, but I hit him when I changed direction and I fell. It was my fault,” explained a racer who has won the MotoGP world champion six times.

Before the race Marquez had expressed pain around the shoulder, but wanted to finish the race despite being at the back.
This season Marquez has fallen twice. Previously, the racer nicknamed Cervera Ants also crashed in the French MotoGP.
However, Marquez did not consider the Italian MotoGP to be a bad race.
“Overall the weekend at Mugello wasn’t really bad for me before the race. But this was later overshadowed by an accident at the Moto3 championship. We lost a talented young rider,” Marquez said of the incident that beat Jason Dupasquier.
