Juventus is looking for revenge after a disappointing season in Serie A. La Vecchia Signora wants to renew the selection and that is why vice-chairman Pavel Nedved sat around the table with Mino Raiola on Saturday. Among others, Paul Pogba, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Donyell Malen were discussed.
At least that reports Tuttosport. According to the sports newspaper from Turin, Pogba and Donnarumma are the main transfer targets of Juventus. A big advantage is Raiola’s excellent relationship with Nedved, who was also guided by the Dutch agent during his playing career.
Donnarumma must become the new goalkeeper at the Italian top club. The 22-year-old Italian international has an expiring contract with AC Milan, but Juve first has to sell Wojciech Szczesny. That is not an easy task, given that the Pool is fixed until mid-2024 and earns seven million euros per year. However, many other clubs are in the same tricky boat.
Raiola and Nedved also spoke about Pogba in Monte Carlo. Juventus is open to a trade deal with Manchester United, with Cristiano Ronaldo going the opposite way. A departure from the Portuguese star would make room for Malen or Moise Kean. The Orange-international, who scored nineteen times in 32 Eredivisie matches, has a contract with PSV until mid-2024. Kean was loaned to Paris Saint-Germain this season, but will likely return to Everton.
Finally, Juventus and Raiola are working on a player exchange with AC Milan. Federico Bernardeschi has to make the switch to San Siro, so that Alessio Romagnoli can start in Turin. Both players will be out of their contract next year and in this way both clubs can still earn some money.
