The next edition of our international judo tournament Trophy of the Thunder is scheduled for January 8 & 9, 2022.
In 2020 we had to apply a registration freeze with 1,250 participants, so register on time is the message!
As every year, strong delegations come from the Netherlands, France, Germany, England, Ireland, Scotland, Romania, Lithuania, …

Ladies & Men U15 (born 2009 – 2008): weighting from 08:00 to 08:40
Ladies & Gentlemen U18 (born 2007 – 2005): weighing from 10:00 am to 10:30 am
Ladies & Men U21 + (born 2004 and earlier): weighing 12h00-12h30
Every 1st place receives a trophy and a judogi.
Every 2nd and 3rd place will receive a trophy.
The club with the most points wins a duplicate of the Thunderclap Trophy.
The club that wins the tournament 3 times will receive the large Trophy of the Thunder with a purchase voucher worth € 1000, to be spent at Topsport Hasselt.
Ne-Waza tournament: weigh-in from 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm
Age category 1: U25
Suffering time category 2: U35
Age category 3: +35
