Hard blow for the Nets who lose a valuable rotation and an experienced player with the package of Jeff Green, victim of “plantar fasciitis” (inflammation of the plantar fascia).
Steve Nash has indicated that his case will be reassessed in ten days, which already deprives him of the end of the series against Boston and possibly the start of the conference semifinals if Brooklyn qualifies quickly.
Jeff Green could be particularly valuable if the Nets were to face Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Bucks (who currently lead 2-0 against Miami) in the next round. In the first two playoff games, Jeff Green was 4.5 points, 2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in just under 20 minutes on average.
