Born in Israel in 1983, Eldad Jaeger has lived and breathed the spirit of martial arts since the age of four. He began his Judo training in 1987 and was soon recognized as a natural talent. As a child, he excelled in local championships and was titled “National Champion of Israel” on numerous occasions. Consequently, he was admitted to the Wingate Institute’s “Boarding School for Gifted Athletes,” where he devoted himself to his practice with the Israel National Judo Team. Very soon, he became an official instructor at the age of 16 and began training children.
At the age of 18, Eldad was drafted into a combat unit of the Israel Defense Forces and was trained in Krav Maga. A highly effective self-defense technique, coupled with his training in various firearms and as a medic. After his honorable discharge, Eldad felt a burning impulse in his bones, he wanted to learn more and train in various martial arts from the best in the field. During your training experience throughout the Far East, you will be trained in the following techniques:
- Lightning Scientific Arnis: Permission to teach from two different organizations within the style of Master Jon Escudero (Israel) and Grand Master Herman Licanto (Philippines)
- Balintawak Eskrima: Guru and Teaching Diploma, GGM Nick Elizar (Cebu, Philippines)
- Wing Chun: Gained the level of “Chum Kiu” (Second Form) under Grandmaster Wan Kam Leung.
- Tai Chi, Qui Gong and Baji: with various teachers in China and Hong Kong.
After years of practicing and teaching, Eldad left Hong Kong in 2019 due to violent protests across the country. Now, at his new martial arts school in Jaco Costa Rica, Eldad Jaeger invites you to the Jaco Martial Arts Center and train, gain confidence and acquire new skills!
