Inter Milan Must Sell Star Players, Agents Achraf Hakimi & Lautaro Martinez Surrender

Two players who became the backbone of Inter won the Scudetto this season are likely to be sold.

The agents of Inter Milan stars Achraf Hakimi and Lautaro Martinez claim there are no summer transfer deals for their clients so far.

However, Alejandro Camano, as the representative of the two players, sounded resigned to their future because the Nerazzurri had to sell some of their stars to overcome the financial crisis.

According to the news that blows Inter owner, Suning Group, must raise a profit of € 80 million in the transfer market this summer. That’s what their previous coach, Antonio Conte, did not agree to, so he decided to resign.

Hakimi and Lautaro are seen as two highly valued players and could be used by Inter to reduce the club’s deficit.

Camano is aware the futures of his two players are now subject to speculation, but insists there has been no talk of a transfer so far. Hakimi is reportedly a target for Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

“There is no situation at the moment. I haven’t spoken to any club and I don’t think Inter are either. These are difficult times for football, there is a difficult economic situation,” he told Telelombardia.

“It is not easy to get out of this complicated situation because of Covid-19. I think it is impossible today to say who will leave Inter, nor how Inter will improve this difficult economic situation.”

“He [Hakimi] still very young, joining Inter was a very smart decision. When the transfer window opened, we received a call for the players, for all the players. The transfer market is starting and if Inter are in trouble we will understand what to do. The market will tell the results.”

As for Lautaro, the Argentine striker was linked with Barcelona in 2020, but now there is interest from Real Madrid.

Camano said there had been no movement from interested clubs, and revealed that a contract renewal for the 23-year-old was still in progress despite the potential for discontinuation.

“I have contacted his old representative and I have to speak with Inter, but the relationship with the club is fine. If a contract renewal agreement is not reached earlier, it is because of his old agent,” continued Campano.

“[Direktur Piero] Ausilio is an important professional who defends the interests of the club very well. Now there will be a new coach, first we need to understand the sporting aspect and then we will talk about all the players who are considered very important.”

“Hakimi still has a four-year contract and Lautaro has two years. Going forward, I don’t know yet, all players have their own prices and I’m sure if the whole of Europe knew the condition of Inter and their winning achievements, all the players would certainly be included in their consideration.”
