Montefiascone – We receive and publish – Friday 28 May was held the fifth edition of the “inclusive games”, the inclusive sporting event organized by the “CA Dalla Chiesa” school, which for the second year took place at the “G.Porroni” baseball field ”Of Montefiascone.

Sixteen teams, made up of a disabled boy and three classmates, faced eight different types of challenges, organized on a circuit: each of these tests, from the relay to the poison ball, from the launch of the vortex to steal the flag, was designed to give way for each participant to give their own contribution, without exception, making everyone’s skills the strength of the team.

Furthermore, the morning, which saw the participation and intervention of representatives of the Tuscia board and associations, was animated by deejay Hack, who entertained the participants in the event to the sound of dance music.

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and the containment measures of Covid-19, the number of participants and schools present has been greatly reduced compared to previous editions. The leading classes of this year’s games, in addition to those belonging to the Iiss “CA Dalla Chiesa”, came from the higher education institutions “G. Colasanti ”of Civitacastellana, and“ M. Buratti ”of Viterbo and the first grade high school“ A. Manzoni ”of Montefiascone.

This initiative was born with the aim of promoting inclusion in the territory and creating a network with schools, mainly upper secondary schools in the province of Viterbo, who could work and collaborate on inclusive issues. The idea of these games originated from the Iiss “CA Dalla Chiesa” which, 6 years ago, was appointed territorial center of inclusion and had the official delegation to deal with the promotion of good practices implemented by the institute.

Good practices such as those of the Inclusive Games, where, by playing all together, everyone is able to show their talents, having fun and enhancing the differences, creating an important moment of reflection in which the team spirit “reigns” and you can breathe a truly atmosphere magical.

The event ended with the awards ceremony that saw the students of the Buratti high school in Viterbo placed on the third step of the podium, the 4 Aec of the CA Dalla Chiesa in second place, while the boys who made up the high school team ranked first. Colasanti of Civita Castellana.

In any case, all participants were given a medal to testify that anyone who got involved in this day deserves recognition and that the real winner is the sport that unites everyone.
