Several members of the Boule Astaffortaise came to pay a last tribute this Wednesday, May 19 to their president Gilbert Tissinier, who died far too soon.
Gilbert joined the pétanque club in 2012 and then, in 2018, members asked him to take over the chairmanship of the association.
He was a man appreciated by all, who knew how to achieve unanimity.
When he was younger, he had practiced football and archery. In addition to boules, he regularly crisscrossed the hiking trails of our region. He enjoyed being together with his family and with his wife Claire, they loved to travel regularly.
All the members of the club say goodbye to you, friend Gilbert and our saddened condolences to Claire and all her family.
