AMSTERDAM – Willem II has appointed a successor to Zeljko Petrovic at breakneck speed, of whom it was announced at the beginning of this week that there was no follow-up to his period as interim trainer. The new trainer was found close to home, because Fred Grim, active twenty kilometers north this season as trainer of RKC Waalwijk, has signed for two years in Tilburg. Willem II is for the 55-year-old resident of the Beemster the third club as head coach after Almere City and RKC. In addition, Grim was national coach of the Dutch Juniors, youth and goalkeeper coach at Ajax, assistant coach at Sparta Rotterdam, assistant national coach and three international interim coach of the Dutch national team.
