Olympics for the little ones: alit Municipal Stadium three days of Sport and Sharing with Fraincanti
FRATTAMINORE (NA) – After two years of closure to the public, the doors of the Municipal Stadium reopen Don Carmine D’Angelo for the 1st edition of Olimpiadi Fraincanti. Three days of sport, entertainment and sharing dedicated to schools, associations and children in the north of Naples, organized by the non-profit organization Young shipyard and from Municipality of Frattaminore, with the contribution of the social enterprise With the children.
Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May, 200 between children and teenagers of the partner schools of the project – I.C. Atellano Groom e I.C. Colombo – will be the protagonists of various sports and recreational disciplines:
- Athletics: run 300 / 600m, run 300m / h, relay 4x150m, vortex throw, shot put and high jump;
- Basket: bell and hurdles and shooting;
- football: slalom and shot on goal;
- volley: matches two against two;
- badminton: one versus one;
- single sessions of archery.
All activities will take place safely and in compliance with current anti-Covid legislation. Sports disciplines and games will be individual, guaranteeing a minimum spacing of at least 1m between each participant.
The winners will be awarded Wednesday 2 June by the mayor of Frattaminore Giuseppe Bencivenga, during a big party with the stands of the stadium open to the public (max 200 spectators).
It will be a morning full of activities for the little ones and not only, with various initiatives planned:
- Gaming– sustainable games made with recycled material in which everyone, adults and children can participate; Emotional map, an emoji game to think about the perception that citizens have of their own territory;
- dance and music with performances by Dance movementby Nicoletta Barra and del Dance Study Center by Tiziana Dirasco.

Furthermore, on the occasion of the initiative, the Ciclobus of the Sustainable Turn, two ecological vehicles that will serve to promote healthier lifestyles in harmony with the environment. An innovative ecological means of transport dedicated to children that arrives for the first time in southern Italy, after the experiences already active in other countries such as Holland and Germany.
FRAINCANTI was born from the idea of FRAttaminore IN CANTIere, a project proposal co-financed by the Social Enterprise With Children (Fund for the contrast of juvenile educational poverty) by Cantiere Giovani, Municipality of Frattaminore, CAM, Project Esserci Volo ut Sis , Project Family Solidarity Agro Aversano, Reactively, the Comprehensive Institutes “C. Colombo ”and“ Novio Atellano ”, the parishes of San Maurizio and San Simeone di Frattaminore.
