On the final day of the European Championships in Lisbon (POR), Judo Austria can celebrate the first medal. Bernadette Graf beats the Olympic silver medalist from Rio Audrey Tcheumeo (FRA) with Ippon (after O-Uchi Gari) in the battle for third place.
The 28-year-old (-78 kg) only had to admit defeat in the quarter-finals of third place in the World Cup, Loriana Kuka (KOS) in the Golden Score after a grab hold with Ippon. Beata Pacut from Poland won the European Championship.
