DallIgna Reveals Reasons for Ducati to Extend Jack Miller’s Contract to MotoGP 2022: Okezone Sports

BOLOGNA – Ducati Team General Manager, Luigi DallIgna, welcomed Jack Miller’s contract extension to his factory team. He also explained the reason Ducati decided to extend Jack Miller’s contract until MotoGP 2022.

As is known, Jack Miller officially extended his contract with Ducati on the MotoGP stage. That way, Miller will wear the Ducati factory team uniform in MotoGP 2022.

The announcement was made ahead of the special Ducati race at the Italian MotoGP 2021. The race which will be held at the Mugello Circuit, Italy, on Sunday 30 May 2021 is indeed a home grand prix for Ducati.

DallIgna said the strong reason Ducati decided to extend Miller’s contract was because of his very slick performance in the last few series. In fact, in the two previous races, he managed to win.

For DallIgna, this condition shows that Miller is a very suitable racer and is able to properly maximize the performance on the Ducati racing bike. His performance was even more perfect because the Australian racer also had great talent, a strong sense of professionalism and determination.

With this series of conditions, DallIgna felt that there was no reason for Ducati not to renew the racer ‘s contract. He also believes that Miller can help Ducati fight for the title, including in the 2021 season.

“We are very pleased to announce that we will continue with Miller in 2022. In this first season, Jack Miller has shown great talent, professionalism and strong determination,” said DalIgna, as quoted from the official MotoGP website, Wednesday (26/5 / 2021).

“He was able to secure two important wins under different conditions after a difficult start to the season. To be sure, he is one of the riders who knows better how to understand our Desmosedici GP to fully exploit its potential under any circumstances, as shown by the recent success at Le Mans, “he continued.

“As always, our aim remains the title, and we believe that with Jack Miller and Pecco, we will be one of the main protagonists of the 2022 title race,” said DallIgna.
