Dallas Mavericks lose first playoff home game in the NBA

After two opening wins in Los Angeles, professional basketball player Maximilian Kleber and the Dallas Mavericks lost their first home game in the playoffs of the North American NBA.

Against the Clippers, the Texans conceded 2-1 in the best-of-seven series on Friday with their 108: 118 defeat. To get ahead, you need four successes.

A strong Luka Doncic wasn’t enough to avert the setback. The Slovenian got 44 points, but the five-time all-star Kawhi Leonard (36 points) and Paul George (29) played big with the guests. Maxi Kleber got 14 points and was one of four players to hit double digits at the Mavericks.

After a 20-6 lead, Dallas failed to maintain the lead. The Clippers reported back with a 14-0 run. It remained tight until the beginning of the final quarter (86:89), but then Marcus Morris made the decision with two transformed three-pointers in front of over 17,000 spectators at the American Airlines Center.

The Brooklyn Nets also had to accept the 1: 2. At 125: 119 the Boston Celtics, Jayson Tatum shone with 50 points and a new record in his playoff career. In addition, the Atlanta Hawks took the 2-1 lead again thanks to an even performance. They beat the New York Knicks 105-94.
