The silence in recent days by Conmebol regarding what will happen with the Copa América has been absolute, without defining anything, there has been speculation about it. There is talk of a double venue with Chile or the entry of Paraguay, in addition, of taking the competition to the United States, taking into account the high levels of vaccination in the population, adding the possibility of having an audience.
Despite this, rumors continue to sound that the tournament will be held entirely in Argentina, according to information from TyC Sports, pending official confirmation from Conmebol, which would be given in the next few hours. According to this, three new stadiums will be added for the Copa América dispute.
The chosen places will be La Bombonera, Jorge Luis Hirschi, from Estudiantes de La Plata and the bicentennial of San Juan, adding to those already known previously as El Monuimental, Malvinas Argentinas, Sole Mother of Cities of Santiago del Estero and Mario Alberto Kempes .
Among the changes to be made, the hosting of the teams from Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and Venezuela will also be taken into account, being those that were going to play in coffee territory.
Other new measures by the Argentine authorities will be to reduce the minimum number of journalists in each stage, in addition to not being able to have an audience at the games.
