Victim of “plantar fasciitis” (inflammation of the plantar fascia), Jeff Green will miss the rest of the series against the Boston Celtics as coach Steve Nash has stated that the player will have to rest for ten days.
It’s a hard blow for the team: a rotating and highly experienced player, Green in regular season averaged 11.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists in 27 minutes in the 68 games in which he fell field.
Jeff Green could be especially valuable if the Nets were to face Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Bucks (who are currently 2-0 up against Miami) in the next round.
