Because of Valentino Rossi’s sarcasm, Marc Marquez will retire from MotoGP in 2021? : Okezone Sports

MARC Marquez (Repsol Honda) issued a harsh insinuation to Valentino Rossi (Petronas Yamaha) recently. The six-time world champion in the MotoGP class said he and Valentino Rossi had different mentality.

The different mentality that is meant is, Marc Marquez will not be like Valentino Rossi, who is still racing even though he is no longer able to win races. The Baby Alien – the nickname Marc Marquez – admits that he will retire if Valentino Rossi gets the result, namely that he is no longer able to win races.

“His approach is amazing, after all he’s achieved. Rossi still wants to race, but we have a different mentality, “said Marc Marquez quoting from Crash.

“When I can no longer win or fight to win, I will retire. I did not race to finish in 15th position, “continued Marc Marquez.

However, what Marc Marquez said to Valentino Rossi, actually happened to him in MotoGP 2021. In the first three races of MotoGP 2021, Marc Marquez never won a race.

Never mind winning, Marc Marquez couldn’t even finish on the podium. Marc Marquez finished seventh consecutive in the Portuguese MotoGP, nine (Spanish MotoGP) and failed to finish (French MotoGP).

When he wanted to get up in the 2021 Italian MotoGP which took place on Sunday, May 30, 2021, Marc Marquez was also sluggish. Marc Marquez only finished 16th in free practice session one and 12th in free practice session two.

Marc Marquez also doesn’t have a sweet record at the Mugello Circuit. Since promotion to MotoGP in 2013, he has won only once at Mugello in 2014.

Even in 2013 and 2015 Marc Marquez failed to finish. Then at the 2018 Italian MotoGP, he only finished 16th.

Therefore, if Marc Marquez fails to appear competitive in MotoGP 2021, will it be The Baby Alien retiring at the end of this season because of Valentino Rossi’s insinuating quality? It’s interesting to look forward to.
