Basketball – Ivory Coast: Mahama Coulibaly presents the federal vision to the leagues

The Ivorian Basketball Federation had a meeting with the leaders of the Leagues. On the menu of the meeting, to share the federal vision for the period 2020-2024, with the leaders of the leagues.

In front of the leaders of the leagues, the president of the Ivorian Basketball Federation (FIBB), presented the federal vision for the period 2020-2024. This vision consists in particular of strengthening the federal administration and reviewing the event-driven nature of the FIBB’s activities.

Subsequently, Mahama Coulibaly announces to the audience the forthcoming organization of training workshops, for local supervisors from May 29 to June 8, 2021. These workshops, according to the boss of the FIBB, will be led by the Slovenian Slobodan Subotic, Daho Malick and Anicet Lavodrama, and will consist in strengthening the capacities of the supervisors.

Mahama Coulibaly indicates in her presentation that the finals of the youth category championships for youngsters, minors, cadets and juniors will take place on June 5th.

The next day, June 6, will be held the first edition of the All Star Game of Côte d’Ivoire. During this event, gala matches between the best athletes, men and women, of the N1 regular season will take place, as well as many other activities. After this great event, from June 11 to 27, the play-offs will be held according to a well-defined schedule.

This meeting initiated by Mahama Coulibaly was an opportunity for the various league officials to have an exhaustive idea of ​​the activities planned by the FIBB over the period 2020-2024.

Before putting an end to said meeting, the boss of the Ivorian Basketball Federation, urged those in charge of the leagues to a real and frank collaboration with the institution he chairs.
