Since the night of Thursday, May 27, we know the posters of the semifinals of the inaugural phase of the Basketball Africa League. They are Zamalek – Atletico Petroleos and US Monastirienne – Patriots BC.
Two attractive posters are to follow in the semi-finals of the Basketball Africa League. Zamalek of Egypt, wide winner of FAP Yaoundé in the quarter, will be opposed to Angolans of Atletico Petroleos, executioners of AS Salé in the previous round. This duel is scheduled for this Saturday at 2 p.m. Rwandan time at Kigali Arena.
A little later at 5.30 p.m. still at Kigali Arena, the second semi-final will confront Union Sportive Monastirienne at Patriots BC. Offensively efficient and pleasant, the Tunisian club swept away AS Douanes in the quarterfinals. The Rwandan team, which struggled against Ferroviário de Maputo in the quarter, must therefore really improve its basketball, if it really sticks to its starting ambitions.
