This afternoon (Sunday 30 May) at 3 pm the Serie C Eleluci JFK Baseball Mondovì returns to the field, making their home debut by overwhelming the Genoa Rookies 15-4 in the seventh inning. Opponents, again in the friendly diamond, the Brothers of Genoa, then the Monregalesi will host the Jacks Torino on June 2nd and on the 6th they will go away to Sanremo.
Last weekend the boys led by Marconi (also deployed as first base) went down 1-2 in the first round for some defensive inattention and for the opposing jokes; then they regained concentration and recovered (3-2 in the third inning). With the change of pitcher (excellent performances by Tealdi and Naso author of two strike outs in the final) Mondovì then closed the match early due to obvious inferiority.
