Badminton-club Kemperle returns to its Salle des Cordiers – Quimperlé

The Salle des Cordiers has once again become the temple of badminton. Since May 19, the coaches of Badminton-club Kemperle (BCK), Quentin Tuaillon and Jérôme Aubert, have reopened the sessions for young categories, adults will be able to attend again on June 9.

“There is already a significant attendance. We apply the protocol recommended by the badminton federation, it is not too restrictive except for the fact that the players cannot take a shower, ”explains Quentin Tuaillon. The BCK is already present 18 hours a week at Les Cordiers. “We have also resumed the extracurricular sessions and in the sports section of Kerbertrand. Our activity for the elderly has also resumed at the Amzer Zo nursing home in Clohars-Carnoët ”.

Summer is getting ready

Little by little, badminton is regaining its habits. The BCK has already planned to stay open this summer. “We will offer free play sessions and small tournaments open to everyone, license holders, holidaymakers or leisure players, our” Flying Tuesdays “will be scheduled every Tuesday evening, from July 13”. Adult slots may remain open until 10:30 p.m.

On the competition side, only international level players are playing for the moment, in particular Guillaume Gailly, in disabled sports, and the young Gaspard Delabrosse who will go to tournaments in Austria and Spain. “We are asking ourselves the question of organizing a tournament at the end of June or the beginning of July, we will see how the situation evolves and if it is possible”, specifies Quentin Tuaillon. The club’s second coach, Jérôme Aubert, is also busy as he will take his exams to validate his diploma.
