The Ibizan team was close to the title, very close, and deserved it as much as Ovida Badminton Oviedo, which was finally the one that took the trophy for Asturias. The whole world of Ibiza sports can be proud of the role played by Vila’s squad, which was able to endorse the Oviedo’s first defeat of the season, although for a couple of games the islanders were left without achieving the dream success . I have no doubt that those of Ernesto García, Vicent Martínez and company will return with more force next season and at some point they will win that championship. But, above all, they will continue working to create quarry and future players. A base that has been treading very hard and that achieves a multitude of medals in each of the competitions in which it participates. But above all, some players who in a few years may already be members of the Pitiús first team, to give them that mostly Ibizan accent that is intended.
