Amiens UC Badminton is finally fixed on the future of the National 3 club championship which started on September 19, and which was stopped before the 3rd day of the championship at the beginning of November.

In a letter sent today to clubs, committees and leagues, the French Badminton Federation said a white season for the 2020/2021 national interclub season.
« The 2020/2021 season is declared as a “white” season: no ranking will be established.
On September 1, 2021, there will be no ascent or descent in relation to the divisions published on September 1, 2020. The 2021/2022 season will therefore include all the pools made up for the 2020/2021 season (subject to re-registration of all teams) as well as their order. “

If Amiens UC Badminton had started the season well with 2 victories against Boulogne / Mer and Gravelines, four teams in the pool had already not been able to play the second day of the championship due to the COVID restrictions in force … The club will therefore find, except possible withdrawals, the teams of Boulogne / Sea, Gravelines, Liancourt, Montrouge and Rueil-Malmaison.
As a reminder, the championship is played in 10 days in a round trip format at home and away.
A logical decision that is not surprising to anyone, even if several scenarios had been considered by the FFBaD in January 2021.
In addition, the federation is committed that the clubs participating in the national club championships (Top 12, N1, N2, N3) do not have to pay registration fees again for the next season.
