The basketball players of the BG Göttingen have been enjoying their summer break for more than a week. Behind the scenes, work is already underway on the team for the new Bundesliga season. In the past, the highlight at the end of the season was always the closing event with players and fans – an integral part of this was the shirt auction. Violet supporters do not have to do without this, even during the corona pandemic. As in the previous year, the original purple home jerseys with the signature of the players will be auctioned online again in 2021. The proceeds go to the youth work of the BG Göttingen.

The auction has been running for a few days via the online fan shop of the BG Göttingen (www.shop.bggoettingen.de – menu item auction). Bids can still be submitted for the jerseys of Luke Nelson, Andrew Onwuegbuzie, Marvin Omuvwie, Mathis Mönninghoff, Tai Odiase and Akeem Vargas, which can be auctioned until June 3rd (8 p.m.), the auctions are gradually running out. Aubrey Dawkins’ jersey has already been auctioned for 215 euros, that of Rihards Lomazs even for 250 euros. And this is topped in any case: the highest bid for the jersey by Harper Kamp is 255 euros before the auction closes on Friday evening at 8 p.m. So there is still something going on.
