Beyond the figures that are made public when a player signs for the Barça club, which cannot be considered a leak like the one in question, there are precedents in which one or more newspapers publish the official salaries of Barcelona footballers. The first time was in March 1926, a few months before the professional status of football was approved. A group of Spanish newspapers published the full list of payrolls that the club paid to its main players and, pulling the strings, it seems that the leak came from the French magazine Sporting.
