While a rumor has been circulating for a few days on the organization of the elective general assembly of the Congolese Judo Federation on February 17, 2021, Me Aya Caloger, member of the normalization committee of the Congolese Judo Federation and associated disciplines? addressed the Pointe-Noire judokas on January 28, calling for calm while awaiting the programming of a credible general assembly.
Me Aya Caloger informed the old and new judokas that the elective general assembly convened on February 17 by the outgoing office will not take place. “For the rumor that circulates, in particular on the EGM programmed by the outgoing president of the Federation, I inform you that in my capacity as member of the standardization committee of FECOJUDA, appointed by the Minister of Sports and Education physical, this elective assembly will not take place or better, it will not take place … ”, he declared because, according to a memorandum signed by the Minister of Sports, the mission to convene the he assembly was entrusted to the standardization committee.
“The president of the standardization committee will convene the elective general assembly in strict compliance with the regulatory texts in force, in particular circular n ° 0455MSEP of 04 June 2020, with a view to the holding of a peaceful elective general assembly to end the crisis », States this note but, unfortunately, the standardization committee was confronted by several difficulties which delayed the holding of this assembly wanted by the ministry at the latest on December 19 last.
In the same context, the president of the National Olympic Committee, Raymond Ibata in his letter addressed to the president of the African judo confederation on the crisis that this Congolese judo federation is going through, titillated on respect for the electorate, which is the main cause of this conflict. “Taking into account the national provisions which would like that in the absence of a national championship during the past Olympiad, the electorate having elected the outgoing office is renewed”, stipulates this letter from the president of the Olympic committee.
But, unfortunately, deplores the normalization committee, the outgoing president of the federation called an elective general assembly on February 17 with a new electorate, which is not possible.
After having passed on his message, Me Aya Caloger thanked the deans and all the elders of judo for their comforting presence and finally congratulated the Congolese judokas for the love they have for their art. “As a moral authority in judo, we had a spiritual duty to protect human life and no one will be killed for judo. Let us trust the State, the Ministry of Sports and its partner, the Congolese National Olympic and Sports Committee, to lead us in appeasement towards the elective general assembly in accordance with the ministerial circular and the electorate of 2016 », He added.
“Pending instructions or directives from members of the national electoral commission and the technical secretariat appointed by the Minister of Sports, I invite the Congolese judokas to calm and respect the State.
