Coclé’s horses are ready for the Basketball Champions League

The current Champions of the Panamanian Basketball League (LPB), Caballos de Coclé, will travel today, Monday, February 1 to participate in Group A of the American Champions League that will be played at the Alexis Argüello Sports Center in Managua, Nicaragua.

The trip of the delegation of the Coclé Horses is scheduled for 10 am from the Tocumen International Airport.

The representative quintet from the province of Coclé finished their training sessions on home soil yesterday morning at the Alfonso Teófilo “Panama” Al Brown Arena on the Atlantic Coast.

Similarly, for the past three weeks they were practicing on the basketball court of “La Doce” Sport Center – Terraza & Grill, on October 12th.

The Coclé Horses quintet will begin its participation in the first bubble of the American Champions League – 2021 this Wednesday, February 3, where it will face Club Real Estelí (Nicaragua) and the next day (Thursday), it will face the Titans of Barranquilla (Colombia).

Both games will be played at 9:10 pm (Panama time).

The Delegation of the Coclé Horses (PAN) is made up of the following players: Carlos Javier Rodríguez, Bryan Waithe, Eugenio Luzcando, José Montenegro, Wil Martínez, Michael Hicks, Ángel Matías, Josimar Ayarza, Ernesto Oglivie, Adalberto Rojas, Jaime Lloreda and Miguel Evangelista.

The coaching staff is made up of Carlos Morales Jr., Technical Director; Enrique Grenald and Isaac Suárez, Assistants; Javier Aizpurúa, Physician; Jesús Gordón, Utilero; and Alberto Duque, General Manager.
