In this NBA Flash you have the summary of the victory of the Memphis Grizzlies who traveled to San Antonio to face the Spurs, and unfortunately the postponement of the meeting between the Denver Nuggets and the Detroit Pistons.

San Antonio Spurs – Memphis Grizzlies: The Grizzlies dominate the Spurs!

First of all, remember that before this match, the Grizzlies were 8 wins for 6 losses while the Spurs were 11 wins for 9 losses.

The Spurs made a very good start to the match by directly creating a 7-point gap after 4 minutes of play (10-3). This will only be short-lived because the Grizzlies directly regain the advantage and manage to finish the first quarter time with a small lead of 2 points over their opponent of the day, but nothing is finished. (31-33). The second quarter begins and the Grizzlies outclassed the Spurs during this period by winning 22-36 during those 12 minutes! Memphis therefore creates a considerable gap of 16 points before half time! (53-69).
The Grizzlies dominate throughout the second half, the Spurs try somehow to pick up the score but the Memphis players are too powerful and chain the baskets until ending the match with 31 points ahead of the Spurs!
Score final : 102 – 133.

Statistical level, it is no surprise that the Grizzlies are much more effective than the Spurs on field baskets attempted with 55.9% success against 41.6%!

Despite the good performance of Keldon Johnson with the Spurs (25 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists) the collective of the Grizzlies still takes the upper hand with 9 players who pass the 10 point mark!

Denver Nuggets – Detroit Pistons: The Covid has struck again.

While this match was to be played, the league decides to postpone it only 10 minutes before the meeting due to potential cases of coronavirus on the Detroit side!
