Atlanta failed to chain a second victory on the Boston floor in the NBA.
The Clint Capela Hawks, who beat the Celtics 122-114 Wednesday in Massachusetts, lost 121-109 Friday.
Clint Capela did the job, however. Second best scorer of his team behind Trae Young (30 points), the Geneva interior was the author of 24 points (11/14 shooting), 15 rebounds (including 9 captured in the offensive phase), 4 blocks and 2 interceptions.
The Meyrinois ended this match with a differential of -4. The other players in Atlanta’s starting five are all -23 or worse after a game in which the Celtics were up to 27 lengths ahead in the third quarter.
The Hawks, who started the season with four wins in their first five games, are going through a tough patch. They have lost eight of their last ten games, and haven’t been able to win two games in a row in a month.
