Full hospitals, the lockdown, masks and closed bars: 2020 was a tough year. From the Johan Cruijff Arena, we looked back during the countdown show on the difficult and beautiful moments of the past year.
The show was presented by Tim Senders and Daan Boom and there were performances by students from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and comedian Rayen Panday from Comedytrain. During the live show, AT5 presenter Rayen Halfhide showed how old and new was celebrated in ‘corona style’.
