Venezuela faces the Junior Orange Bowl of Golf with three representatives

Caracas.- The young José Miguel Ramírez, Virgilio Paz and Lucía Ramírez will be the representatives of Venezuela in the Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championship, one of the most important golf tournaments in the world in terms of minor categories.

The Junior Orange Bowl Golf will begin this Sunday at the Biltmore Golf Course, in Coral Gables, Florida, with the participation of the best players under the age of 19 who were invited according to the ranking of the affiliated countries.

José Miguel Ramírez earned his inclusion in the Venezuelan team in his capacity as youth national champion. For his part, Virgilio Paz is the amateur champion of Venezuela, while he is the current South American monarch of the Pre-youth division, a title that he won last year in Bolivia.

Meanwhile, Lucía Ramírez is current junior national runner-up and occupies the position of champion Ivanna Flores, who due to logistical problems was unable to attend the appointment in Coral Gables.

José Miguel Ramírez will start his action this Sunday at 9:00 am from the tee on hole 1, next to the Americans Kaleb Palm and Solomon Petrie.

In turn, Virgilio Paz will start the first round at 7:39 am from the 10th tee, in the company of the Guatemalan Gabriel Palacios and the American Sebastian Moss.

Finally, Lucía Ramírez will start this Sunday from the 10th tee at 9:00 am, next to the Colombian María José Marín Negrete and the Guatemalan Josmine You Shin.

This Junior Orange Bowl International Golf is the first tournament assumed by the Venezuelan Golf Federation in 2021.
