towards a buyout to join the Nets?

The trade deadline is set this season for March 25, and barely this last one, we enter what is called the buyout period. Players who have not been transferred, who are at the end of their contract and wanting to leave, especially to join a suitor, negotiate a contract buyout in order to be able to sign up with the team of their choice to end the season.

For the past few days there has been a player about whom there has been speculation following the arrival of Jarrett Allen in Cleveland, it is Andre Drummond. The Pivot is in the final year of his contract and if he’s having a good season, just like the Cavaliers, he could be a player who could negotiate a buyout to bolster a contender as he goes free agent this summer and the the likelihood of him remaining at the Cavs has pretty much diminished with Allen’s arrival.

If The Athletic is to be believed, it would only be a matter of time for the pivot to negotiate a buyout and join the struggling Brooklyn Nets. It would necessarily be a big recruit at a reduced price for the Nets.

To see if his desires elsewhere will quickly materialize and if he will negotiate a departure well before the trade deadline. The Cavaliers will probably want them before trying to get a counterpart before letting him go like this.
