“It is not possible to indulge in such acts vis-à-vis the club. And I’m not talking about Eyraud. I’m talking about the club, the Marseille Olympic institution. […] As long as their anger is on display, in the street or at the stadium, it’s okay. But this is too much, “said the former boss of Adidas before adding that he understood the anger of the supporters given the sporting situation of the club after four defeats in a row in all competitions:” Their frustration and this anger, we understand them. But you can’t accept them that way. It is not possible.” Before forcing the entrance to the training center, supporters had deployed all over the city banners hostile to the leaders but also to the players.

Tapie, however, wanted to put the leaders of OM in front of their responsibilities by inviting them to ask questions. “The managers and the shareholder have been assuming a responsibility for a while now that is not really up to what we can expect from this club. But that’s not a reason to be violent and want to destroy everything ”. Tapie also fears that the attack on the Commandery gives “an image of OM which will be definitely bad.”
