Under the teacher’s guidance Gabriel Ponce, the training for the children’s categories is progressing, with boys between 9 and 15 years old, pending definitions on the calendar of national competitions of the Western Buenos Aires Tennis Association (ATOBA), that will depend on the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, private classes continue for all ages, Monday to Friday from 7 to 21, and the school for the youngest children, on Saturday mornings.
“Currently, we have more than 150 people practicing tennis at the club. We start very early with classes, because many people ask us for the first hours of the morning, due to the summer heat or working hours. In addition, on Saturdays and Sundays we work with the rental of courts, also from 7 to 21, “said Ponce.
On the other hand, the coach also said that a tournament is being planned for March, but its organization is subject to the health crisis. Finally, he recalled that the BAP Tennis app is available, it can be downloaded on mobile phones through the Play Store, for reserving appointments.
