Latvian football striker Kaspars Svārups will continue his career in the Serbian Super League last match “Bačka”, the club informs.

“Bačka” takes the last place among 20 teams in the overall ranking table after half of this season’s tournament or 19 rounds. The Serbian Super League season will resume in February.

26-year-old Svārups has long represented the Ventspils team in Latvia. Last season, Svārups scored eight goals in 23 games, taking the shared tenth place in the list of the best bombers in the Super League.

The Latvian footballer made his debut in the Premier League as a member of the Ventspils “Tranzīts” team, but since 2012 he has been under the auspices of the “Ventspils” club. During this time, the attacker was also in Kazan’s “Rubin” system, as well as in Polish and Norwegian clubs.

In Latvia, Svārups, without the Ventspils team, represented Jūrmala’s Spartak in the 2018 season, and he was also a member of Ilūkste and Jūrmala clubs. With Ventspils, he became the Latvian champion in 2014, as well as twice won the national cup.
