Snowboarders crossed, the World Cup started in Chiese, Italy. Eva Samková was also present at the start, who was sovereign in the individual promotion rounds. In the grand final of the four best competitors in the middle of the track, however, she lost the leading position and ended up third. Michela Moioli from Italy rejoiced at the triumph, Faye Gulini from the USA was second. The men’s race was dominated by the Dutchman Glenn de Blois.
