Porzingis and Doncic join forces to break Dallas’ slump

Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic joined forces this Wednesday in the NBA for his Dallas Mavericks to beat the Indiana Pacers, while Cameroonian Joel Embiid shone with 42 points in the Sixers’ victory.

The Latvian Porzingis finished with an excellent performance of 27 points and 12 rebounds and his partner, the Slovenian Doncic, did it with a ‘triple-double’ of 13 points, 12 sacks and 11 assists in the Mavericks’ victory over the Pacers 124-111 .

Both European players helped Dallas broke his first three-game losing streak of the season.

Meanwhile, the Pacers, who fell short, have lost two games in a row.

Malcolm Brogdon, with 26 points, and the Lithuanian Domantis Sabonis, with 25 points and nine recovered balls, stood out from Indiana.

Dallas definitely took the lead with the last basket of the third quarter and walked away with an offense after 11-4 in the last stretch.

The Mavericks had taken control most of the game after using a 15-3 attack to take a 37-22 lead late in the first quarter.

Doncic, for his part, appeared to hurt his left knee three times during the game, but still managed to finish the match. The Mavs are 5-1 when they score at least 110 points.

In Philadelphia, Cameroonian Embiid shone with a super score of 42 points and 10 rebounds and Tobias Harris helped with 22 points for the 76ers’ victory over the Boston Celtics 117-109.

Embolite has had the best start of his career and surpassed 40 points for the second time in three games. He fired 12 of 19 shots from the field and made 17 of 21 from the free throw line. His teammate, Australian Ben Simmons, scored 11 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Sixers.

Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 26 points, Marcus Smart had 25 and Kemba Walker 19 in their second game of the season, after missing the first 11 games with a left knee injury.
