The Czech national team will not start in Finland. After the Tour de Ski, she preferred to prepare for the World Championships and participate in the domestic championship in Nové Město na Moravě. He will return to the World Championships next week in Falun.

The Norwegians joined the World Cup for the first time since the end of November. The December races in Davos and Dresden, as well as the January Tour de Ski series, were missed due to coronavirus concerns.

And the overall winner of the World Championships from last season, Johaugová, continued where she ended up on November 29 in Ruka. She won the third race in a row, in the meantime after the classic section she had a thirteen-second lead and in the free part the distance more than doubled.

The 32-year-old Norwegian won the 77th championship in the World Cup. The group of four-member groups competed for the remaining medals with an interval of almost half a minute, and the Norwegians surpassed the Swede Ebba Anderson in the yellow number for the leading SP racer running the American Jessie Diggins.

Among the men, the Norwegians won each of the four races they had entered so far, and the winner was always different. Iversen followed up on third place from the opening sprint in Ruka, which also ended in the absolute triumph of the Norwegians.

In Lahti, there were five representatives of the Nordic power in the top six, and the star Johannes Hösflot Klaebo was not yet at the start. Their block was broken only by the fifth Alexander Bolshunov. The Russian representative and the sovereign winner of the Tour de Ski continues to lead the series in order.
