Media: Tigges before BVB extension

Steffen Tigges is apparently facing extension at Borussia Dortmund. According to ‘Transfermarkt.de’, the players and the club have already agreed to expand their cooperation. The 22-year-old is expected to sign a professional contract dated until 2024 shortly

He did not have one to date, because in 2019 the striker came to BVB as a commitment from VfL Osnabrück for the amateur team. His current working paper would have expired at the end of the season.

In the past few weeks, Tigges was able to recommend himself for higher tasks under coach Erdin Terzic. In the 2-0 win over Eintracht Braunschweig in the DFB Cup, the 1.93-meter-tall left-footed player was on the pitch for 90 minutes. In the Bundesliga he has always been part of the squad and has so far made three short appearances.
