Tennis player Tereza Martincová entered the Australian Open qualification with confidence. In Dubai, where women are fighting for participation in the inaugural grand slam of the season, she defeated Tereza Mrdežaová from Croatia 6: 1, 6: 2 in the 1st round. Immediately after the first matches, on the other hand, the hopes of Lukáš Rosol and Zdeněk Kolář, who lost to their French rivals in the qualification in Doha, ended.

The eleventh seed Martincová, who has never played in the main competition in Melbourne, will play Maryna Zanevska from Belgium in the 2nd round. Last year, she failed in qualifying in the 3rd round.
The wheeler in Doha was not enough for the first seed Gregoire Berrére, to whom he lost 6: 7, 3: 6. Rosol did not catch up with the hopefully played duel with Maxim Janvier and after the three-hundred battle he lost 7: 6, 5: 7, 1: 6.
