In a disturbing and completely useless post, an Insta user detailed his “plans” to shoot LeBron James in an upcoming game against the Brooklyn Nets: “Thursday, February 19th, I will go to a game of Nets vs Lakers. I’ll have this gun shown in the photo enter the arena and shoot @kingjames in the head during a timeout. You have been warned @kingjames “.

The post was later deleted but someone relaunched it on Twitter, as you can read and it did not go unnoticed. The user was forced to respond and retract everything, calling it a “joke”: “I would like to publicly apologize for threatening LeBron IT WAS A JOKE. I realized that things like these are no jokes and can be taken very seriously. I have over 500 requests after going private because someone posted it on Twitter. You can hate me as much as you want, but I really apologize and if I could go back in time and think before I publish something like this I would. “
