JUDO: SARAH MAZOUZ TAKES AN IPPON IN DOHA

The road to the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games is getting more complicated for Gabonese Judo champion Sarah Mazouz. This Wednesday, she came up against a major opposition embodied by Kosavare Loriana Kuka in the -78 kg category. 28th in the world, the Gabonese, beaten by Ippon, will however not be unworthy with two shido. She fought stronger than she, Loriana Kuka being ranked 12th in the world rankings.

Despite this lost fight, Sarah Mazouz still keeps her chances of qualifying for Tokyo next summer.
