James and the Next Brand – Hammon, the first female coach in NBA history

LeBron James reached the next milestone in the NBA on his 36th birthday. “His” Lakers beat the Spurs, who have since been coached by a woman – another novelty in NBA history.

In the 121: 107 win of the Los Angeles Lakers at the San Antonio Spurs, James scored at least ten points in his 1000th game in a row on Wednesday night.

James put up 26 points against the Spurs and was the champions’ best shooter. The German national player Dennis Schröder also showed a good performance and reached 21 points. For the Lakers it was the third win in their fifth game of the season.

There was a novelty on the Spurs side: After coach Gregg Popovich was expelled from the hall, Rebecca Hammon was the first woman to take over the coaching skills of an NBA team.

The Boston Celtics also took their third win of the season. The team around Daniel Theis prevailed at home with 126: 107 against the Memphis Grizzlies. The outstanding actor was Jaylen Brown with 42 points. Theis was part of the starting line-up and came up with twelve points.

Dallas and Doncic disappoint

The Dallas Mavericks’ home appearance, on the other hand, was disappointing, losing to the Charlotte Hornets at 99: 118.

The third quarter, in which the Texans lost touch (12:30), was decisive. Top performer Luka Doncic had a bad day, did not convert any of his five three-way attempts and did not get past twelve points. Maximilian Kleber also scored twelve points – all in the first quarter.
