German hairdressers are bothered by suspiciously cut footballers

German hairdressers protest that footballers look suspiciously well-groomed even at the time of the closure due to coronavirus.

The AP reports that the National Association of Hairdressers and Barbers wrote an open letter to the president of the German Football Association, Fritz Keller. According to hairdressers, many footballers have a fresh haircut, even though the salons have been closed since 16 December.

Due to the strict coronavirus rules in Germany regarding home visits, most people are doomed to either a slightly neglected appearance or risky amateur hairstyles.

Experts could not miss the fact that elite footballers have “highlighted paths, hair on the neck and temples shaved to a few millimeters and clean contours. That is, hairstyles that can only be created by professionals with professional equipment”. According to the hairdressers ‘association, football players’ hairstyles help people try to persuade barbers to cut them insidiously despite the ban, for example at home.

Last June, Dortmund players Jadon Sancho and Manuel Akanji received a fine from the German league management for having a hairdresser cut at home without a veil.
