The CABB-AdC Liaison Table officially informs that on February 26 the new season of the Federal Tournament will begin with the participation of 64 teams from eight different regions, under the protocols already approved by the Ministry of Health of the Nation. Among the participants there will be 30 clubs that were not in the previous edition, including eight from the National League Development League: Boca, Ferro, Obras, Ober, Regatas, Quimsa, Olmpico and Libertad.
We are very satisfied with the number of clubs that have decided to make the effort to participate despite this very complicated context of a pandemic. For everyone involved it is very important that the entire activity gets back on track after almost a year because there were many protagonists needing this return to the competition. We have been having permanent meetings with interested institutions for more than 20 days and we want to thank the patience and congratulate all who have decided to go forward, thinks Sergio Gatti, Secretary General of the Argentine Confederation.
The organization informs that it will coordinate the form of dispute with each of the zones. The end of the regular phase is scheduled for May 28 and the start of the playoffs for June 11. The end of the campaign was determined for July 23. This season the GES Deportiva system will be used, the new digital platform that will help save time and money, while also seeking greater efficiency and transparency.
