Eibar sign former Manchester City Aleix García

The Sociedad Deportiva Eibar announced this Monday its first signing of the winter market, that of the Catalan midfielder Aleix García, from Dinamo Bucharest, who has signed the contract that will join the gunsmith team until the end of the season, with the option to renew for two more seasons.

Aleix García, 23 years old and trained in the lower categories of Villarreal, He made his debut with the Castellón first team on May 23, 2015, without turning 18 years old.

In the 2015-2016 season he signed for Manchester City, where he alternated the first and second teams for two seasons. He played four games in the Premier League in the 2016-17 season.

In the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons He was part of the Girona squad, when the Catalan team played in the First Division, a team with which they played 51 games and scored three goals.

Back in Manchester, it was loaned to Royal Mouscron of the Belgian league, with numbers of 23 games played and 5 goals scored in the 19-20 season.

Once separated from Manchester City, signed for Dinamo Bucharest, where he has played 7 games before terminating his contract due to the financial problems of the Romanian club and which have led to his arrival at SD Eibar to reinforce the core line of the Gipuzkoan team

Aleix García was born on June 28, 1997 in the Tarragona town of Ulldecona and was international with the Spanish team in the under’17 and under’21 categories.
